Overview
The X9508 is the chassis at the heart of Cisco's X-Series — the modular frame the company positions as the successor to a decade of blade thinking, built to take compute nodes across several future generations. Buying one is a platform decision, and platform decisions get made with new hardware. Chassis ship new and to order through our documented Chinese channels, contents confirmed line by line and serials registered at Shenzhen. We cover it with the one-year hardwaresys Return-to-Base warranty; Cisco entitlement follows the vendor's rules. The frame is only half the conversation — list the compute nodes and fabric modules it must carry, then request a quote. Fabric choices lock early, so decide them first.
