Overview
HPE designed the ProLiant WS460c Gen9 as a graphics workstation blade for BladeSystem c7000 and c3000 enclosures: dual-socket Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4, DDR4 SmartMemory, and NVIDIA Quadro, GRID or Tesla cards fitted by mezzanine or through the double-width Graphics Expansion Blade. It ran centralised CAD, engineering and VDI desktops, and it is now end-of-sale. Units sold here are refurbished. Workshop practice for this blade is our standard one: powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Warranty is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + up to 3 yr on request. Most of the cost and complexity lives in the graphics, so tell us whether you want the single-width blade or the version joined to the Graphics Expansion Blade, which GPU it should carry, and which enclosure it goes into — then request a quote.

The vendor has stopped selling this model, which is not the same as it being unavailable. Supplier stock still holds it, and the generation that replaced it carries the current price — so for extending an estate rather than rebuilding it, this code is usually both the fit and the cheaper line. It is quoted as refurbished or OEM stock with its condition stated, never as new, and it carries the same Standard QC and the same 12-month hardwaresys warranty as anything else we ship.
