The vendor has stopped selling this model, which is not the same as it being unavailable. Supplier stock still holds it, and the generation that replaced it carries the current price — so for extending an estate rather than rebuilding it, this code is usually both the fit and the cheaper line. It is quoted as refurbished or OEM stock with its condition stated, never as new, and it carries the same Standard QC and the same 12-month hardwaresys warranty as anything else we ship.
WS-C2960G-48TC-L left Cisco’s price list on 31 July 2012. The replacement named in that announcement is Catalyst 2960S 48 GigE, 4 x SFP LAN Base — which the vendor has since discontinued as well.
