Overview
This is the refurbished route into Cisco's C240 M7 — the current-generation storage-heavy UCS rack server, at the price the used market sets rather than the list Cisco publishes. Each machine is certified Grade A after refurbishment. The trade-off against the factory-new card next to this one is straightforward: the new unit buys the full manufacturer entitlement and an untouched service history; the refurbished one buys the same platform for materially less, with our workshop's history in its place. Before release the server is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded.
