Overview
The UCS C245 M8 brings Cisco's EPYC rack line to the 4th and 5th Gen processors, Genoa and Turin, with DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen5 lanes and tri-mode RAID that handles SAS and NVMe on the same controller. It can also take RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell cards, so it fits inference at the edge of a cluster as readily as dense virtualisation or storage-heavy databases. As a new unit it is procured per order. In Shenzhen our warehouse team opens it, matches every component to the quoted bill of materials, records the serials and closes it up again for delivery. Cover: 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. The first fork in the configuration is graphics: with GPUs the riser layout and power supplies change, while without them you keep the slots for networking and storage.
