Overview
The 8U16X-TURIN2 B300 is the AMD EPYC sibling of ASRock Rack’s 8U16X-GNR2 B300, for 9005 or 9004 processors, the 3D V-Cache and 97x4 parts included. The GPU board is again an NVIDIA HGX B300 with NVLink; around it sit hot-swap NVMe bays at the front, PCIe 5.0 slots at the rear and ConnectX-8 SuperNICs for the cluster network. Memory is DDR5 RDIMM or 3DS RDIMM, one module per channel. This is a new unit, not a refurbished one. Supply runs through ASRock Rack’s authorised partners, on request; the build is configured, and the allocation issued, by the manufacturer once an end-user certificate is provided.
