Dell PowerEdge R350 — Full Technical Specifications
The R350 is the R250 with the storage taken seriously: the same single socket and the same generation, in a chassis that accepts hot-swappable drives in either format and a good many more of them. It is what a branch buys when the site is going to keep its own data rather than push it all upstream.
The model is offered as a new build and in refurbished condition.

Compare the bay row on this page against the entry model in the same family and the whole argument for the R350 is there: more drives, and hot-swappable ones. Everything above that row is identical, so if storage is not the constraint, the cheaper machine is the right answer. The controller row is broader than the class usually justifies and is worth using — a hardware controller with cache changes the behaviour of a small array under load more than a faster processor would. The supply row again offers a fixed or a hot-swappable unit, and the choice is about maintenance windows rather than about watts.
