Dell PowerEdge T150 — Full Technical Specifications
The T150 is a single-socket PowerEdge tower from the Xeon E-2300 era — the model that quietly runs file shares, directory services and backup software in offices with no cabinet and no server room. It is chosen for being unremarkable, which in this class is a virtue.
Both a new build and refurbished units are available.

Look at the drive line and the supply line together, because between them they define this tower's whole limit. Drives are cabled rather than hot-plug, meaning a failure is a scheduled stop and not a walk past the machine; the supply is fixed and single, meaning the same thing for power. Neither is a defect at this price point, but both need to be understood before the machine is put somewhere that cannot tolerate a stop. The controller row is more generous than the class usually allows and is where a sensible upgrade sits. Management is the full enterprise stack, which is the reason to buy this rather than a desktop with a big disk.
