The fan row is the one people miss, and on this Gen11 model it matters: cooling here is neither hot-plug nor redundant, so a fan failure is an outage rather than a warning. That is normal for the class and worth knowing before the machine goes somewhere unattended. Against it, the power row does offer proper Flex Slot supplies, which is unusual this far down the range. The slot line combines an expansion slot, an OCP seat and a dedicated storage position, so networking and a controller can both be fitted without competing — read it before assuming the single slot is all there is. Bays are few in either format.
