The memory row is the honest limit of this machine and the one most often misread: the slot count is smaller than the processor family suggests, so the ceiling is well below what a rack server of the same generation reaches. Plan against that figure, not against the processor's capability. The slot row is generous for a tower and, with the accelerator row, is what allows a graphics or inference card here. Note the two quite different power arrangements offered — a plain desktop-style supply and a redundant hot-plug pair — because they make this the same machine with very different availability.
