Overview
The System x3650 M5 is an end-of-sale rack server — a design that predates the ThinkSystem naming and has not been built for years. Refurbished is the only condition available, and the listing exists because estates still running these racks need matching nodes and spares that the factory will never make again. Each unit is pulled from service, wiped, brought back to a working baseline and then powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Sourcing runs through Chinese supply and the audit is performed at our Shenzhen warehouse by our own people. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and on an end-of-sale platform that term is doing work nobody else will. Units are found against your order, so the page shows a lead time. Buy one to keep an existing row complete or to hold a spare beside it; new workloads deserve a generation that is still supported by its maker.

The vendor has stopped selling this model, which is not the same as it being unavailable. Supplier stock still holds it, and the generation that replaced it carries the current price — so for extending an estate rather than rebuilding it, this code is usually both the fit and the cheaper line. It is quoted as refurbished or OEM stock with its condition stated, never as new, and it carries the same Standard QC and the same 12-month hardwaresys warranty as anything else we ship.
