Overview
Two AMD EPYC sockets in a low-profile rack chassis is the whole pitch of the AS-1125HS-TNR, a member of Supermicro's Hyper line. Hyper is the company's flagship rack family, and this variant puts its weight on processors and memory channels, with full-height PCIe slots left for an inference card or other add-ins. Virtualisation clusters, in-memory databases and analytics engines that scale with memory bandwidth will use it best, particularly where rack height is billed by the unit. The machine is new, ordered for you rather than taken from inventory. It is received and checked at the Shenzhen warehouse we run, with the configuration matched to your quotation and each serial captured before it goes out. Cover: 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. Many hypervisors and databases are licensed per core, so the core count per socket is a cost decision rather than a performance one; tell us how your software is licensed, and request a quote.
