PowerMax 8500 is the top of Dell's storage line, full stop — the array underneath core banking, reservations and settlement systems, engineered for the kind of availability that gets written into contracts. Organisations shopping at this level usually know it; everyone else is better served further down the Dell storage range. Every 8500 we handle is new and built to order against the customer's capacity, replication and licensing picture. Procurement is documented from the Chinese source through Shenzhen intake to the export manifest. Our side of the cover is the one-year hardwaresys Return-to-Base warranty; the array's operational support is always arranged in Dell's name, as platforms of this class require.
