Overview
The Power E1150 is the midrange of IBM's current Power range — enterprise-grade partitioning and reliability for the AIX and IBM i estates whose workloads matter enormously but never needed the flagship frame's scale. It is a new, sourced-to-order machine. Power buyers live inside IBM's entitlement world, and our job is to deliver hardware into that world cleanly: supply through Chinese channels we can document end to end, inbound control at Shenzhen. Cover from us is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB; IBM support is always arranged in the vendor's name. These quotes are built around capacity units and licensing as much as hardware, so bring the current entitlement picture and request a quote. Where an E1180 would idle, this frame stays honestly busy — that sizing honesty is the point of the midrange.
