Overview
The HD6500 is Synology's high-density platform — the machine for surveillance archives, compliance retention and the other workloads measured in shelves of drives rather than in gigabytes. It anchors the top of their capacity line. It is a new-only listing: at this scale the enclosure is a fraction of the project cost and nobody sane amortises it against used-market risk. Procurement runs through China; Shenzhen audits before dispatch, and freight for a chassis this size moves on a pallet, booked door-to-door rather than to a forwarder's dock. Cover stands at 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and the maker's own entitlement is quoted separately (+ vendor’s own warranty). A build like this is drive logistics more than anything: tell us the retention target and we will spec the fill in stages.
