Read the top rows of this table as pointers rather than as specifications: processors, memory and slots all say that they depend on the installed nodes, which is literally true — a chassis without nodes is a power and storage frame. So the questions to settle first are which node type is fitted and how many. Below that, the rows describe the chassis itself and those are real: shared storage behind an integrated controller with cache, an onboard switch, redundant supplies. The management row names the chassis controller, which is a separate thing from the per-node management and is what makes the whole box administrable. Ask us what a specific unit contains.
