Overview
The VRTX is an unusual thing: a chassis that takes blade nodes and shared storage and is quiet enough to stand in an office. It is offered refurbished because the platform has been out of production for years while a surprising number of them are still running in branch sites and small studios. Each chassis is wiped, restored to a working baseline and then powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Buying runs through Chinese supply and the quality audit takes place at our own Shenzhen warehouse before anything ships. The warranty is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB. Everything is sourced against an order, so the page gives a lead time. When you enquire, say which nodes you need populated and what the existing chassis holds: on this platform the chassis alone is rarely the whole answer, and matching what is installed is the point of buying one.
