Overview
Refurbished R240 units come back in quantity from branch estates that have been consolidated. Each is wiped, restored to a working baseline and re-tested — for an entry rack server there is little inside that can fail quietly, which is why used ones are a reasonable buy. The unit is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and that pass is the limit of what we will assert. Sourcing runs through Chinese channels and the audit is ours, done at the Shenzhen warehouse before release. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB and it comes from us. Units are found against your order, so this page carries a lead time. They earn their place as spares for a row of identical machines, as lab hosts, and as a second server for a site that cannot justify buying two new ones. The new R240 listing is the alternative.
