Overview
Refurbished R440 units are plentiful because the model was bought in volume for small workloads and those workloads have since moved. Each arrives decommissioned, is wiped, rebuilt to a working baseline and tested before it goes on this page. Every machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and that is the extent of what we will claim about it. Sourcing runs through Chinese channels and the inspection is done in our Shenzhen warehouse rather than trusted to a supplier. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, ours. Units are sourced per order, so the page shows a lead time rather than a count. Buyers use this card for utility roles — a backup host, a small hypervisor, a domain controller — and for spares against racks that still run the generation. The new R440 listing is there for the cases that need untouched hardware.
