Overview
Refurbished R550 rack servers come back from estates that used them for storage-heavy or card-heavy roles and have since re-platformed. Each is wiped, restored to a working baseline and re-tested, and the specification is the one on the new card, unchanged. The machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, with drive health captured in the same session. Units come through Chinese supply and every one passes the quality audit at our Shenzhen warehouse before release. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB and it is funded by us. Each unit is located after you order, which is why this page carries a lead time. The practical uses are capacity nodes, backup hosts and spares for a row already built on this generation; the new R550 listing covers everything that has to arrive untouched.
