Overview
This is the refurbished side of the R740: rack machines pulled out of service, wiped, brought back to a known baseline and re-tested. The specification matches the new build one for one. The honest difference is that somebody ran these first, and the clock on them started before you saw them. Every unit goes through the pass everything else we ship goes through — powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded — and drive health data is recorded before it ships. Stock is not the model: we source to order out of Chinese supply and do the quality audit ourselves in Shenzhen. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, ours rather than an inheritance from a previous owner. Most buyers on this generation want exactly this card: a node that extends a rack already running the platform, or a spare that will be stripped for parts one day. If the tier has to read as new on paper, the OEM new listing beside this one answers that instead.
