Overview
The R550 is the roomier rack option in its Dell generation, chosen where drives and cards matter more than density. Ordered new, it is assembled from original components and has never been deployed, which is what a first-hand asset record requires. We assemble against the order rather than ahead of it. The specification you send defines the build, and the machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded before it leaves the warehouse. Sourcing is spread across China, with the audit done in Shenzhen by us. The term is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and where the vendor's own cover runs longer we quote it as theirs — + vendor to 36 mo. A refurbished R550 rack unit is listed separately and is the usual choice for extending an estate; this card is for the tier that has to be new when the auditor asks.
