Overview
Refurbished R450 units come back from estates that bought them for a single role and then changed it. They are wiped, restored to a working baseline and re-tested, and what you get is a modest rack server with a known state rather than an unknown one. Each unit is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Nothing more specific is claimed. We buy across Chinese supply and audit in Shenzhen ourselves, which is the difference between a history and a hope. The term is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, ours rather than a leftover from the first owner. Units are sourced once an order exists, so the page gives a lead time. This card suits secondary roles: a domain controller, a small hypervisor host, a spare kept against a row of the same generation. The new R450 listing covers the rest.
