Overview
The R450 is a modest rack server from Dell's previous generation, bought for roles that need a real server without a large chassis around it. Ordered new, it is assembled from original parts and has never been in production anywhere. We build after the order lands. The configuration you describe is what gets assembled, and the finished unit is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Sourcing runs across Chinese suppliers, with the quality audit carried out in our Shenzhen warehouse. Warranty is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB and any longer entitlement belongs to the vendor and is described as the vendor's — + vendor to 36 mo. A refurbished R450 is listed alongside for estates that are extending; new is what a first deployment or a regulated tier normally needs.
