Dell PowerEdge R450 — Full Technical Specifications
The R450 is the entry two-socket rack machine of Dell's fifteenth generation: a full pair of sockets and a full management stack, in a chassis stripped of the expansion the larger models sell on. It is bought for virtualisation hosts and application servers where cores and memory matter and cards do not.
We carry it as a new build to order, and as refurbished units.

Full Specifications
The interesting comparison is not with the model above it but with the single-socket machines below: this one gives you two processors and the memory channels that come with them, and that is the whole reason to pay for it. So read the socket and memory rows against the workload, then check the bay row, which is short for the generation and is what most often sends a buyer up the range. Networking adds an OCP seat to the onboard ports rather than replacing them, which is more flexible than it looks. Power is redundant and hot-swappable, unlike anything in the tower range.
