Overview
The R470 belongs to Dell's newest rack line, and this catalogue lists it new only for the plainest of reasons: a generation this recent has not produced any returns yet. It is assembled from original components and deployed for the first time by whoever buys it. Each order starts a build rather than a shipment. We place your configuration with the suppliers we work through and the machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded before release. Purchasing spans China with the audit at our Shenzhen warehouse. The cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and the vendor's own entitlement is separate and named as the vendor's — + vendor to 36 mo. On current-generation hardware the honest variable is lead time rather than availability, so send the bill of materials and we will tell you what the schedule actually looks like.
