Three rows on this sheet are doing something unusual for a two-socket server and deserve reading together: the drive row, which adds middle and rear positions to an already full front face; the slot row, which puts expansion at the front as well as the back; and the cooling row, which offers open-loop water as an alternative to fans. Those three interact — the fullest storage build and the fullest accelerator build cannot both be had, and cooling decides how far up the processor range you can go. Settle them as a set before looking at capacity. The memory row quotes a conventional ceiling and a much higher one that depends on persistent modules, and those are different machines in practice.
