Overview
The R760xa is the accelerator-oriented version of Dell's mainstream rack platform: the chassis is laid out for cards rather than for drives, which is the reason anyone chooses it over the standard model. It is listed new, since machines built for accelerators are run until the platform is retired and rarely return. Every unit is built against your order. Once assembled it is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and then it is released. Sourcing is spread across Chinese suppliers and the quality audit takes place at our Shenzhen warehouse. Our term is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, with the vendor's own cover described as the vendor's where it runs longer — + vendor to 36 mo. For a build like this, the constraint is usually the rack rather than the order form: tell us the available power and cooling with the card list and the configuration will follow from it.
