Overview
The R7725xd is the drive-heavy variant of Dell's newest dual-socket AMD rack server: the same platform, arranged around storage instead of around expansion cards. It is offered new only, which on a range this recent is simply what the market allows. We order against your specification rather than from a warehouse. Once the system is assembled it is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and only then is it released to ship. Buying spans Chinese supply with the audit done in Shenzhen by us. Cover from us is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and whatever the manufacturer carries beyond that is the vendor's own and is named as theirs — + vendor to 36 mo. If the reason you are looking at the xd variant is drive count rather than compute, say so with the bill of materials: it changes what is worth ordering around it.
