Overview
Refurbished R650 machines come out of estates that have already refreshed past this generation. Each is taken down, wiped, returned to a working baseline and tested before we list it, so what changes hands is a dense rack server with a documented present rather than an undocumented past. The pass it goes through is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, with drive health noted alongside. Hardware is bought across Chinese supply and the audit happens at our Shenzhen warehouse, carried out by people on our payroll. The line on cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, funded here. We find each unit against your order, which is why a lead time takes the place of a quantity. This is the card for another node in a row already running the platform, for a matched spare, or for a staging estate that has to behave like production. The new R650 card is the other route.
