Overview
The XR4000r is the rackable face of Dell's stackable edge system — a multi-node platform for sites that need several small servers in one hardened footprint: retail regions, transport hubs, distributed inference points. Refurbished units come from programmes that redesigned mid-rollout, which is the churn every edge buyer quietly benefits from. The r-designation means it also sits happily in a shallow rack when a site turns out to have one after all. Each system is verified at our Shenzhen facility — nodes seated and booted, configuration matched to the record, inspection completed with photographs and the serial history retained.
