Overview
The DL380 Gen8 is end-of-sale hardware and has been for years — HPE moved on generations ago, which is precisely why these machines are now absurdly cheap for what they still do. Lab benches, training environments, legacy applications pinned to old operating systems: this is their territory. Every part that can fail has a spare on the open market for pocket change, which is its own kind of reliability. Refurbished stock is plentiful and ours is honestly graded: powered, checked against its configuration sheet, inspected, photographed and serial-logged at the Shenzhen warehouse. The vendor has stopped selling this model, which is not the same as it being unavailable. Supplier stock still holds it, and the generation that replaced it carries the current price — so for extending an estate rather than rebuilding it, this code is usually both the fit and the cheaper line. It is quoted as refurbished or OEM stock with its condition stated, never as new, and it carries the same Standard QC and the same 12-month hardwaresys warranty as anything else we ship.
