Overview
The DL380 Gen9 is end of sale: HPE stopped building this rack generation, and refurbished is the only condition in which it can honestly be offered. That is not a defect in the listing, it is the reason the listing exists — estates on Gen9 need parts and nodes that match, and the factory no longer makes them. Each unit comes out of service, is wiped, returned to a working baseline and re-tested: powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. We buy through Chinese supply and audit at the Shenzhen warehouse ourselves. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and on end-of-sale hardware that term is doing real work — nobody else is offering one. Units are found against your order, so a lead time stands where a stock number would. Buy this to keep a Gen9 rack whole; anything that has to stay inside a vendor support window needs a generation HPE still ships.

The vendor has stopped selling this model, which is not the same as it being unavailable. Supplier stock still holds it, and the generation that replaced it carries the current price — so for extending an estate rather than rebuilding it, this code is usually both the fit and the cheaper line. It is quoted as refurbished or OEM stock with its condition stated, never as new, and it carries the same Standard QC and the same 12-month hardwaresys warranty as anything else we ship.
