Overview
Sold as a SuperServer and known to Supermicro as the SYS-1029U, this CSE-119U build is a low-profile Ultra rack server for two first- or second-generation Xeon Scalable processors, with a small-form-factor drive front that can run NVMe across the row. It is a refurbished way to get fast local flash in little rack height, suited to database replicas, VDI hosts, Kubernetes workers and build servers where the newest CPU generation is not the bottleneck. Our standard refurbished check applies before it is listed for sale: powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Cover stands at 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + up to 3 yr on request.
