Overview
Many Supermicro EPYC servers run full-size Genoa or Turin silicon; the AS-1015SV-WTNRT does not. It carries AMD's EPYC 8004, the Siena part made for rooms short on power and cooling, on a single socket in a low rack chassis. The W in the suffix marks Supermicro's WIO expansion design, copper LAN is already on the board and the supplies are redundant Titanium units. Telco aggregation sites, regional cloud pods and branch compute that must sip rather than gulp are where it belongs. This is a new unit procured against your order. Once it reaches our warehouse in Shenzhen, staff open it, match every component to the quotation and log each serial number before it is packed. Expect 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. Siena spans a wide range of core counts under one modest thermal ceiling, so the choice that matters is the processor model: give us a core target or a per-rack power budget and request a quote.
