Overview
The DM3200F is the entry all-flash member of the DM Series: ONTAP on NVMe SSDs, a small drive minimum and no capacity floor, which lets a smaller organisation buy into ONTAP flash without paying for a big shelf on day one. It suits a modest virtual estate, a file service that has to be fast, or a remote site replicating back to a larger DM or DG system at headquarters. It comes new. We place the purchase in China, then at our Shenzhen site check the array’s controllers and drive set against your order and log the serial numbers before release. 1-yr hardwaresys RTB + vendor’s own warranty. Growth on this model is limited to a single directly attached DM242N expansion per HA pair, so tell us where you expect capacity to be in a few years; if it outruns that, a larger controller is the better buy.
