Overview
The EF600 is NetApp with the extras stripped out: an E-series NVMe box whose one job is throughput and latency for a known workload — HPC scratch, analytics pipelines, media playout — rather than general-purpose data services. That focus shapes the buying: these are picked by engineers with a benchmark target, not by committees with a features matrix, and they are picked new because a performance array's warranty maths never favours the used market. We source through China, audit in Shenzhen, and warrant our side at 1-yr hardwaresys RTB with the manufacturer's programme kept in the vendor's name. Send the throughput target and the host fabric, and request a quote. If the target is aspirational rather than measured, say so — it changes what we recommend.
