Overview
The DS2246 is a NetApp disk shelf rather than a controller — an expansion enclosure that hangs off a filer you already own. Refurbished is the right and usual condition for one: shelves outlive the controllers they were bought with, and estates need more of them long after the model has gone. Each shelf is wiped of its previous identity, brought back to a working baseline and then powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. We buy through supply across China and the audit is carried out at our Shenzhen warehouse. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB. Every shelf is sourced against your order, so a lead time stands where a stock number would. Tell us which controller generation it has to attach to when you enquire — compatibility with the head, not the shelf itself, is what decides whether this is the right part to buy.
