Overview
The UC3400 is the specialist of Synology's rack range — a unified controller built for block storage duty, the box the brand offers when the job is SAN targets for a virtualisation cluster rather than file shares for an office. Active-active by design, it is Synology answering a question usually asked of much pricier vendors. The buyers are almost always consolidating a cluster's datastores off ageing general-purpose boxes. Units ship new to order through our documented Chinese procurement, verified and serial-registered at the Shenzhen warehouse.
