Dell PowerEdge R6525 — Full Technical Specifications
The R6525 is the two-socket EPYC server in Dell's thin rack profile — a very high core count per rack unit, which is precisely what it was bought for. Virtualisation farms, container platforms and hosting estates account for most of them, and they were frequently bought many at a time.
Offered as a new build to order and as refurbished units.

Core density is the point of this machine and it has a consequence the table states plainly: the supply row runs high for a chassis this thin, because two fully specified processors in this height draw a great deal. Read that against the cabinet's circuit, not just against the server. The memory row spans many positions and wants them filled to deliver the bandwidth the processors expect. The bay row offers a modest fast-drive build and a much denser conventional one, which are different chassis. Networking has both onboard ports and a dedicated seat, which spares the few slots available.
