Dell PowerEdge T440 — Full Technical Specifications
The T440 is the two-socket PowerEdge tower of its generation, and one of the few towers that can be converted to rack mounting later. That flexibility is why it turns up in growing offices: it starts under a desk and finishes in a cabinet without being replaced.
We offer it as a new build and as a refurbished unit.

Full Specifications
Read the form-factor line before anything else, because the rack conversion it mentions is a kit bought at order time in practice, and retrofitting one is more awkward than it sounds. After that, the bay row: this tower holds a serious number of drives in either format, and the choice between them is fixed by the cage. Power supplies come in three grades and the highest of them is only needed if the machine is fully specified on both sockets — buying it by default is money spent on headroom nobody will use. Networking is the weakest row on the sheet and the one most often upgraded on day one.
