Overview
The R740xd2 is the deepest-storage member of its Dell rack generation — a chassis bought because of how many drives it swallows, not because of what sits in the sockets. New units come from original components and have carried no data for anyone before you. We assemble against the order and keep nothing waiting. The completed machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and then it is crated. Parts are bought through Chinese suppliers and pass the audit at our Shenzhen warehouse. The term is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, with any longer factory cover named as the vendor's own — + vendor to 36 mo. A refurbished R740xd2 is listed separately and is the usual answer for bulk capacity; this card is for a tier that has to enter the asset register clean and stay under a single owner.
