Overview
The R940xa is the accelerator-carrying version of the four-socket R940, built to pair a scale-up database with cards rather than to be a general server. It appears here refurbished because that is where supply for the platform now sits: these machines were bought for specific projects and return when those projects end. Each is wiped, returned to a working baseline and put over the bench, where it is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. We source through Chinese supply and run the quality audit ourselves in Shenzhen before release. Cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB. Units are found against your order rather than held, so the page shows a lead time.
