Chassis and supervisor fit
A line card is only right if the chassis, the supervisor and the software train all agree — and a network module only if the switch model and software release take it. Tell us the chassis or switch and what is already in it, and we check the card against all of it before the quote goes out.

We check the card against all three before quoting — chassis slot support, supervisor generation and the minimum software release. If the combination does not work we say so instead of shipping a card you cannot use.

The CE88-D24S2CQ and CE88-D8CQ cards on this page are for the CE8861-4C-EI and CE8868-4C-EI chassis (CE88-D8CQ also the CE8860-4C-EI). Name the chassis and the VRP release on the request and we confirm the slot and software support before quoting.
Yes. Cards for platforms the vendor has stopped selling new still run in production estates worldwide. Those come as refurbished or OEM stock, with the same testing and the same warranty.
