Overview
The R260 is a short-depth entry rack server, which is a specific answer to a specific problem: cabinets in offices and comms rooms that will not take a full-depth chassis. It is listed new only, because entry machines of this generation have not come back to the market yet. Each unit is built against your configuration once the order is placed. The assembled server is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded before it is packed. Sourcing runs through Chinese suppliers, with the audit performed at our Shenzhen warehouse. Our cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and a longer factory term belongs to the vendor and is written as the vendor's — + vendor to 36 mo. If your constraint is the cabinet rather than the workload, say so with the bill of materials: depth is the reason this model exists and it is the thing worth confirming before you order.
