Overview
The R540 is the drive-heavy rack server of its Dell generation, bought where capacity per chassis mattered more than compute density. New units still sell into estates standardised on the generation, and they arrive assembled from original parts with no service history. We build against the order and hold nothing in advance. Your specification is what gets assembled, and the completed machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Components are purchased across China and audited at our Shenzhen warehouse before dispatch. The cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, and a longer term is the vendor's own and gets named as the vendor's — + vendor to 36 mo. A refurbished R540 is listed separately and is the common pick for bulk capacity; this card answers the deployments that need the chassis to be first-hand.
