Overview
The R640 is the dense rack half of its Dell generation — the box that goes in when the row has height to spare rather than depth. Bought new, it arrives with original components and no service history at all, which is the whole point for a tier that must be traceable from its first hour. Assembly happens after the order, not before it. You give us the configuration, we place the build, and the machine leaves only after being powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded. Sourcing spans Chinese suppliers and the quality audit happens in our own Shenzhen warehouse. Warranty here is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB, with any longer cover attributed to the vendor that actually carries it — + vendor to 36 mo. The refurbished R640 is on its own card for buyers who care more about matching an existing row than about starting the clock fresh; new is for the row being built now.
