Overview
A refurbished R640 has been through a life already: decommissioned from a rack somewhere, wiped, reassembled to a working baseline and tested again. Dense rack machines of this generation come back in volume, which is why this card is usually the easier of the two to fill quickly. Before anything ships it is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, with drive health data captured in the same pass. The hardware is drawn from Chinese supply and checked in Shenzhen by our own staff, so the report attached to a unit is one we wrote. The cover is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB and it is ours to honour. Everything is sourced against your order rather than pulled from a shelf, hence a lead time on the page. This is the card for spares, for a lab that mirrors production, and for adding capacity to a row nobody wants to redesign; the new R640 listing is the alternative when the machine must have no prior owner.
