Overview
The R6715 is the newest turn of Dell's single-socket AMD screw, and it exists for the refresh planner: the buyer replacing whole rows on a schedule, who wants the longest runway of firmware support and parts availability a platform can offer. It is sold new to order. At this point in a platform's life there is no meaningful second-hand supply anyway — what exists is allocation, and our purchasing works that allocation across Chinese distribution with Shenzhen as the staging point. Before the forwarder sees it, the machine is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded.
