Overview
Refurbished R940 systems come out of estates whose large database moved elsewhere — to a newer platform, to a cloud, or into a consolidation project. Each is wiped, restored to a working baseline and re-tested before listing, which on a four-socket machine matters more than usual because there is simply more of it to check. The unit is powered on and booted on our bench, configuration checked against the spec, completeness and visual inspection, photos, logs and serials recorded, and the drives are assessed during that pass. Buying runs through Chinese supply and our staff carry out the audit at the Shenzhen warehouse before anything is released. Warranty is 1-yr hardwaresys RTB and we fund it. Every system is sourced against a specific order, hence a lead time. Scale-up hardware is bought used far more often than people admit: it keeps an existing licensing arrangement alive and gives a matching standby. The new R940 card is the route for anything that must be untouched.
